It's perfect for me and my little girl. We've made cookies and pizza in it and both came out great. It's a convection oven so the little fan inside helps distribute the heat for even cooking. Works great a a toaster oven too. When baking just make sure to preheat for at least 10 minutes. It's better than an Easy Bake oven for my daughter. She is 11 and loves to bake and make little snacks in there (under supervision of course!) since it gets hot like any other oven. Space saver oven thumbs up! Great little toaster oven with lots of options. Possesses wide range of ability, from making toast to baking muffins. The rounded back side of the toaster oven allows for a 9" frozen pizza to be cooked within. Great thinking. Controls are simple, and easy to understand. A superior value for the money.

Love my Oster stainless steel convection/toaster oven! As a long-time user of "toaster ovens" for baking and general cooking. I find this good-looking unit to be the best I've ever used. Plus, the rounded back means my cast iron skillet fits in, handle and all, for dishes like Southern Hot Skillet Corn Bread or Egg Frittata. Unlike the supposed experiences of some of the nit-picking whiners here (many who show they know little about cooking), it's been excellent for all around baking, broiling and toasting. Addressing some of the specific complaints: my door closes perfectly, I like the tick-tick of the timer and the fact that the oven automatically turns itself off and my convection fan is very quiet. I also see several complaints that the three dial system is too confusing and takes too long to set. Since it takes me all of 2 or 3 seconds to set them, I have to think these whiners would be better off with a child's "Easy-Bake" toy oven. By the way, I picked mine up at a tag sale for $7. Like some other whiners here, the wife didn't like the hot top surface (which makes a great plate-warmer) and she refused to use the unit, so it's in absolutely brand-new under cabinet oven rotisserie. Since there was no tray, I can't address the complaint that it's flimsy. I use the tray from my old toaster oven, as could others, I suppose. I decided with the high cost of energy, and eating by myself most evenings now that it was a sin to heat a huge oven for just me. We have been very pleased with this appliance. We were concerned that it would be cheap looking and be "wimpy". This is not the case. It looks great on my counter and had proven easy to keep clean.

My ten year old countertop Black & Decker toaster oven finally stopped making toast, and I realized their new ones were getting pretty bad ratings, so I decided I needed to go up a bit in quality. This one seems to fill the bill. I've had it about two months. It makes toast that's browned nicely on both sides. The digital oven set-up, where you turn the dial to your desired level of crispyness each time you use it, avoids those nasty surprises when you find a different member of the household has set the toaster to very dark when you like it light. The larger size (it really holds four slices of bread, not six) is nice if you're baking dinner for one or two people. I've done the small pizza, a chicken breast, and a small meatloaf. All turned out nicely. I expect it will be nice this summer when I want to bake something for dinner and don't want to heat up the kitchen. Fits under the counter too! I have had several different brands of toaster ovens over the years and have never really like any of them, my last Black & Decker being by far the worst - it never heated either evenly or accurately and did a terrible job of toasting bread.
